Always have WIP on Friday

All these pictures have pieces of works in progress. Most are items that will soon be incorporated into work I hope to be finishing this weekend. I have birthdays next week and some crowns to develop. I love making crowns!!!! Another work I'm very proud of is my lovely daughter and precious grandson you can see in the photo. My grandson is now a senior in high school so this was taken ages ago but, really, aren't they just adorable? Megan is a first grade teacher and Mikey does stand-up comedy - for real! They and my other daughter Erica are the joys of my life.

The berries and the buttons are headed for a crown for a very special lady. The red chair, too. I haven't made a red crown and I think it will be terrific fun. This bedroom kind of has a red, blue and pink theme going on. I'll use it as inspiration for the crown. (that little girl all bundled up in red is ME!!)

See that birdie? That birdie sings. Honest! When turned on every time there is a movement near by little birdie sings. It is the sweetest sound. Birdsong is a perk of a second-story bedroom like mine.
